Fell's Point

Fell's Point is one of my favorite parts of Baltimore as you feel like you are walking back to Edgar Allan Poe's time on those cobblestone steps. Funny feeling, because the last spotting of the famous poet was at the bar in Fell's Point called "The Horse You Came in On."

What to Do

Walk Around and Explore

You can walk a three block-radius around the main street area to spot beautiful row homes, a public garden, a waterfront area, and many shops and restaurants. But first, make sure you spot the Vote Against Prohibition sign in the center of the small town. See if you can find it in the pictures below ;-)

Shopping

Fell's Point is full of small business shops that are worthy of going into. Our favorites are EC Pops for fun-filled Baltimore-themed paraphernalia, Poppy & Stella and Brightside Boutique for outfits, and The Seasoned Olive for creative gift ideas. Also, Su Casa and Fells Point Surf Co are along Thames Street.

Admiral's Cup Live Music

The Admiral’s Cup hosts live outdoor music during the warmer weather months. You do not need to get a table to enjoy this music; especially since once the music starts, the actual restaurant seats are filled up pretty quickly.

Urban Pirates

This pirate cruise sails around the inner harbor from its starting/docking point in Fells Point. They offer an adult booze cruise which we thoroughly enjoyed, as well as kids cruises earlier in the day. The booze cruise is BYOG (bring your own grog), and they supply music and a really good time. I thought it would be cheesy but it sure wasn’t! We all said this was the most fun we’ve had in Baltimore.

Fell's Point Farmers Market

The Fell's Point Farmers Market has a wide variety of vendors in a smaller, outdoor open space on Broadway Square. This is a great way to support local businesses.

Where to Eat

The Choptank

Also in Fells Point is The Choptank. Their frozen drinks and the atmosphere make us feel like we are at the beach. We love their music and vibe.

Pitango Bakery

When here, you feel like you are at a bakery in Italy. With the fresh ingredients, and the "sipping chocolate," I don't believe any place is better for lunch!

Max's Taphouse

One of our favorite spots to go is Max's Taphouse as it has over 100 beers on tap, and always gives us a good time.
